Sam's steakhouse opened in the summer of 1999 with a golf of serving the best prime steaks, chops, fresh grilled seafood and comfort foods, topped off with an extensive salad bar using only the freshest produce, house made salads and specialty bread.
I would not return to this restaurant. The fish I ordered had a strong ammonia taste and smell. It was obviously old and could not be eaten. I informed the host and he acknowledged me but no apology was offered even though the food was inedible. . The salad bar was average or even decent unless you were comparing with Burlington.restaurants. Overall, I would not feel safe ordering food here again.
AWESOME is the only one word I could say to give this restaurant a rating. I noticed no one had commented lately. Went on a Monday night and business was still good. From the time we entered, everyone was extremely friendly. The waitress was top notch, and the food was wonderful. The salad bar was beautifully arranged, cold, fresh and crispy. Loved it. I ordered a grilled marinated pork chop, and my two friends ordered prime rib. Delicious. I must say, you must leave room for dessert. Absolutely a 5 star experience, and I highy recommend!!!
Sam's is a MUST TRY!!!!
There is not one thing that I don't like about Sam's.
From the moment you walk into the place it is warm and inviting. The tables are cozey, yet just the right size to not crowed you. The service is excellent, and that only compliments the wonderful food more. They have a lot to chose from at the salad bar, and everyone in the family from Gram and Gramp to the kids will find something that they truley enjoy!
The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and is cozy though a bit loud. If you go, skip the steaks. My TBone was obviously frozen and was grizzly and barely edible. My friend had the prime rib which was like shoe leather.
The good note was the salad bar which was plentiful and fresh and the apps were good and hot. Its a decent restaurant but avoid the steaks.
Sams has a great Seafood and Beef menu, and you can get some old fashioned meals too like meat loaf. An excellent salad bar is included with your dinner. Can get crowded when the skiers are in town.
Prices are high for the area, but the food quality and service are also high for the area.
A roomy bar area is included if you have to wait for a table.
Great steaks and an extensive salad bar make Sam's the favorite place for both of us and the kids. Although it doesn't take reservations, there is a comfy bar with plenty of games to keep the kids busy while you wait. Will be crowded Fridays and Saturdays during ski season so get in line early or plan for the second shift. Friendly wait staff.
