The Four Chimneys Inn, Bennington

We found this wonderful place online and are so glad we did! A beautiful old mansion that is clearly well cared for, but maintains the historic qualities that make it so special. Our room was very spacious, clean and beautiful. My husband and I loved the fact that we could choose what we wanted for breakfast instead of having one-size-fits all like some b&bs. (and breakfast was delicious!) The restaurant was closed for dinner when we were there, but the innkeeper was most helpful in guiding us to other restaurants in town. We had drinks in the living room/bar which we found wonderful and relaxing. Love the Four Chimneys and will definately return!

I read a few reviews about this place online and booked a reservation for valentines day dinner. Im not one for going out to eat on valentines day since it usually too crowded to have a nice, romantic dinner but since we were staying in town for the weekend I figure we might as well. We had an 8 olock reservation so the dining room was only 25% full. The service was excellent and the food was excellent. I live in NYC and this was on par with many good resturuant. The place had alot of charm. I highly recommend it.

Excellent food and service. Beautiful setting and VERY friendly innkeepers. Very convenient to world class art and theatre at the Bennington Center for the Arts.

This is a warm friendly, charming, and reasonable Inn to stay. They care about your stay. We enjoyed very much. Great breakfast, great people.

We had a wedding and many of our guests stayed at the Four Chimneys Inn. Everyone raved about the cozy accomodations and the super restaurant. We have also been to the restaurant many times, and always look forward to the friendly faces and incredible food, with its artistic presentation and tastey cuisine, served with a great selections of wines. I've been at a few luncheons there as well that also measured up to their reputation. It's one of the premier restaurants in Southeast VT, otherwise known as the banana belt. You won't be disappointed!

Everything was perfect! Peaceful, quiet elegance, indeed! Delicious food. Friendly innkeepers and staff. The room was clean and bright. The bed was very comfortable. We had a wood burning fireplace which we enjoyed every evening. There was absolutely nothing that we disliked.

Beautiful dining room, excellent service, great setting. Stay here as well for a wonderful experience.
