Sirloin Saloon, Manchester Center

7-2-2011. It's ok. They push you in and push you out after waiting for your beeper to go off!!!!!! The food is OK, and the help is good. Expensive place now. They think that everybody that goes in there are rich NY state people. I'm not poor but thats the feeling I got. By the way, I need to mention, I'm not a first time customer, I've gone there on and off for the last twelve years. Its OK, Thats it.

My wife and I had dinner here and we both were very pleased with the service and food, the main part of the restaurant was dark but we were on the porch so didn't have any problems. The food was brought out in a timely manner and was good and hot.

This place came recommended by our innkeepers, however it was an awful experience from start to finish. When we were finally seated, our table was jammed into a corner, I could have reached out and touched faces of the very loud group of people sitting next to us. The place was so dimly lit I had a hard time reading the menu, I'd assume they do this so you can't see that your food looks like crap. Paid $25 for a filet that was suppose to be medium rare, inside was more like rare, the outside was charred black-Not the quality I'd expect for a $25 meal! The salad bar was messy and unclean with dressing spilled everywhere. On top of all that our waitress was mostly MIA and didn't offer to refill our drinks until we were almost finished with our meals. The only thing I enjoyed about this place was the pretzels and cheese spread they served us at the bar while we waited for a table! A Horrible dinner experience, save your money and go elsewhere! My husband and I recommend the Manchester Bar and Grille, they had better food, better service and a much nicer atmostphere.

My family and I love the steaks they serve. The salad bar is great and their home made bread well just fantastic. Everytime we come up from Rockland County N Y we always have our dinners there--great food and great service.,

Food was great, salad bar excellent, dark bread a winner, prime rib great, service above average.

The waitstaff and management are friendly and truly enjoy their jobs. The food is excellent and there is a great selection. The salad bar is wonderful. This is my favorite restaurant in the area and I live here! Best to avoid the place on skiing weekends as you are guaranteed a long wait, but the atmosphere and the food are worth it.

This is my daughter's favorite place in Manchester to dine for dinner! It has a fabulous Organic salad bar and homemade multigrain bread that is to die for! The salmon is great !! We have been going to this place for over 15 years! We will continue to go as long as our favorite waitress is there! LOL That's Fran!! She is the best waitress (ask for her). Friends who often visit Manchester, Vermont recommended the Sirloin Saloon. We still can't figure out why. We had a very disasppointing experience. The silverware we were given at first was dirty (!), although our drink order was taken and delivered prompty, we waited over an hour and a half for our dinner to arrive. When it did finally arrive it wasn't worth the wait. My fish was overcooked and my spouse's steak tasted off. Also, I feel that the time for salad bars has passed. I find it to be a very dated concept. I would rather be served a a nice salad by the server, and not have to get up and make it myself. At the end we felt that we paid a lot for a not very good experience. Don't make the same mistake we made, dine elsewhere when you are in Manchester.

I was a little skeptical after reading some reviews, but tried it anyway. You couldn't ask for a more relaxing and friendly atmosphere. If you ask me, anyone who had a bad experience must have gone during peak tourist season! They are one big and busy place. Handcut steaks, homemade bread, and a warm, cozy setting set it apart from anything else. We love you guys! See you soon.

We waited a total amount of 1 1/2 hours for our drinks, meal, and offer of dessert. The waitstaff, at least the two males we had, forget the value of the customer. Skip it.
