Family owned and operated, Windsor Pizza Chef has been a staple of downtown Windsor for over 20 years. They are known locally and throughout the Upper Valley for their delicious style of pizza. Just ask the residents of Hartland, Cornish, Plainfield, Lebanon, Brownsville, Ascutney, and Weathersfield who travel up to 10 miles just to dine there.
There's not much else this review can say because the product speaks for itself. You owe it to yourself to stop in if you find yourself in town.
The Chef definitely beats Ramuntos and it's not even close.
We were traveling through Windsor and planned to stop for lunch at McDonald's, when we arrived there we found that it had closed. So, we ended up stopping at Pizza Chef and were very surprized at the food, it was great! This is a great place to eat and we plan on going back soon!
Their pizza is the best out there in Windsor VT. They have many toppings to choose from, they also have choices of salad, grinders and more. The enviorment is very comfortable there is a game room where people can go in and play games until the food is ready or just to have a good time. I would love to go back there again and again. It's great the food, service and the enviorment that surrounds the place.
Pizza Chef is good. Not great, definetly not garbage, but good.
Just don't eat too much of it.
You owe it your assh**le not to eat there often. Unless you don't mind it getting as slippery and greasy as the pizza they serve.
GO GUS and NICKOS, Well the 1st Pizza Chef of all of them and an institution by many rights.... This family has fed Windsor folks, ex presidents and more to come... Dont me mad if you wait in line, dont be upset if you had cold beer, and enjoy every bite... No mcd's because they suck, no subway because its not fresh and so on and so on.... This family gives back to their community and its people everyday.... With gifts, grants and quality dollar for dollar service and food... You will not make a mistake by visiting this or the many other Pizza Chefs loacted within this reason... They are family owned and opperated and care about one thing... THERE CUSTOMERS and THE TOWNS which they are in... PERIOD make no mistake. PIZZA CHEF is the best beacuse you've tried all the rest and well the other place are problebly closed or cant pass their food inspection.... GO WINDSOR and all THE PIZZA CHEFS......
Sorry, but in my humble opinion, Pizza Chef leaves a lot to be desired. I've had pizza all over the country and if you're a true pizza lover you know that even mediocre pizza ain't half bad. Unfortunately, this place is a dump in the truest sense of the word. Unclean, run down, and the food is awful. Better off try Ramunto's in Claremont, NH Absolutely superior! Maybe the Pizza Chef can clean up it's image and work on their food. It'd be nice to have a decent pizza joint in town. I know, I'm a resident.
