Norwich Inn Restaurant (Dining Room), Norwich

Two of us stayed three days to attend Baking School. Our experience was so different from the reviews. We had no clue who the innkeepers were; no one was friendly. Our room was over something so that there was beating (sounded like wood on wood) from 10:30 pm until 11:35 pm. Next day the desk always had a liine of folks when we tried to complain, so we never talked with anyone. We had a hard time finding food as the restaurant was closed on Monday. Even when we went to check out the desk person was busy on the phone and not available to chat. There was no breakfast , no afternoon tea, etc... not an Inn in our experiences.

The ales and wine were fantastic and the staff couldn't have been more friendly. The food was over the top fantastic. Our room was large, warm and comfortable. We will be ging back...it is an absolutely great place!!!

The beer is amazing and everyone that works there is so friendly. Every room has it's own character, the old paintings on the walls are intriguing.

I typically visit the area around holidays....often times the resturaunts are closed...the staff makes you feel like it is your priveledge that they should serve you...while the common rooms and the rooms in the main house are pleasant, there is not a warm feeling at the Inn

Our room in the Vestry was dreary, smelly and almost without lighting. The bathroom was cramped and depressing. Nowhere to put anything. Would never recommend the place, never stay there again. Really rates no stars at all!! The floor was filthy. Had there been another choice we would have left immediately.

The Norwich Inn has the atmoshphere of a REAL, ideal Inn. It is charming. The staff was phenomenal! The presentation of the food was as exceptional as the quality.

I went to school at Dartmouth and I always loved when my parents stayed at the Norwich Inn. Its cute, the pub is awesome and it just has that homey feeling that New England is best known for. I now enjoy going back myself for alumni events.

What a wonderful, quaint spot to relax and enjoy this beautiful town! The hosts are marvelous, the food is great, and the beer...well the beer is king!

Sally and Tim Wilson are excellent hosts/owners. The room I had was up several flights of stairs (there is no lift for luggage) but it had great character and comfort.

May be a decent place to stay, but being a sober person in VT, I can assure you that beautiful girls in VT are FEW an FAR between!!
