Buen Apetito, Waterville

We've been going there since the place opened in it's old location. Just the fact that the place is always packed says something about how great the food is there. The best times to go are week days for lunch when there are smaller portions. The dinner portions are always so big we end up taking home the leftovers. If you like quality Mexican food, you won't be disappointed.

this has to be the best place i have ever ate at it so good that if i had a chose to only eat one thing and one drink it would be the margaritas and the enchiladas thoughs make me feel like a day in heaven really try to find your way around to buen apetito ( and yes the chef's mexican shes really nice and has been workin there for about 5 or so years how do i know this i'ev been there alot trust me O.e)so after you'ev gone down there and tried some of the food write about it and you tell everyone elz how the food was =]

We find this restaurant a fantastic place to come. A very casual atmosphere, and the food is prepared authentically, as the cook is from Mexico, from what I hear. The prices are very reasonable and the menu varied enough that you could eat there twice a week and not run out of new things to try. The margueritas are DEFINITELY the best I've had. Be prepared ! And the chips are served with 2-3 kinds of very unique salsa. Don't leave town without going here!!

Nice, friendly Mexican and darned passable cuisine given the distance from the southern border. Nearly as inexpensive as fast food and you are usually served very quickly. It's not like the Carnitas joints found in the west, but darned good eats and a great value. It's a popular place with limited seating and no reservations so go early or late. It does a good job tiding us over between trips west!

Honestly, this place has the worst salsa I've ever tried in my life. Most people say you can judge a place in the first 30 seconds, once you've tried the chips and salsa. If that was true I would have left right then and there. But unfortunately, this is the only Mexican food restaurant in Waterville. But, had I left, I would have missed their home made tortillas which were pretty good. The chorizo wasn't bad at all.

This is a nice little restaurant located next to the internationally renown Railroad Square Theater. The meals are fabulous. Seating is limited, and I have not found that they accept reservations. However none of these have ever detered me from dinning here.

As per your review of the resturant it states that they do take reservations. However, they don't and I was told they never have. I was told that there should not be a long wait for a table. Again that was wrong, very long wait, small place not many seats. Lot of people haveing the secound or third drink before leaving. Don't know how the food is, got tired of waiting.

This is a wicked good mexican restaraunt.. There are not many good mexican places around here and I recommend everyone try this place if thier ever in the area

The margaritas are so good, and the food is so good, that I was willing to forgive the nonchalant service. It really seemed like the servers didn't care if we stayed or left. But honestly the food was good enough, we stayed. Best Chile Relleno I have had in years. The tamale is NOT what I recognized as a tamale, but everything else was delicious and authentic.

I like everything about the place. Great food, friendly staff.
