After the 2nd time I got moldy tofu at this restaurant, you'd think I'd have given up. But decided to give them one more chance, and ended up sick all night. We called them to let them know and they basically called us liars and told us that if we go to the hospital and get a letter from a doctor saying that I got food poisoning, they'd give us back our money. Sorry, but my time is more valuable than that, I'm not going to sit in an emergency room for 6 hours to get $30 back and they know it. Avoid this restaurant if eat tofu, and if you're not a vegetarian, you'd be much better off down the street at China Hill where they have a buffet. I've been told by my meat eating friends that Bangkok's meat is gross anyway.
Try the pineapple chicken you won't be disappointed. Had the Pad thai and egg rolls(might have been spring rolls) Very good food, new building is very nice too. Service was a little slow, girl said she was new
this is my favorite restaurant ever and the food is the best!!!!!!!!!! I'm 12 years old and have always loved going to The Bangkok. The owner is my aunt(my mom's sister) and she is the best hostess you'll ever see.
It's hard to get a seat at this little place, but it's so yummy it's worth any wait. The owner is this cute little thing and she's often there hostessing in her traditional attire. She'll call you by name after a few visits...I love this place!
We've been eating here for years and the food is outstanding and the hostess is most charming. We love her and we love going to the Bangkok Restaurant. We used to visit the area for Acadia, now we visit to eat at Bangkok Restaurant.
