The Bayview Bar Harbor, Bar Harbor

The Bayview was a wonderful hotel, the staff were kind and helpful. The breakfast was great, I would love to have the scone reciepe. Just wonderful! (Maybe next time I could tour the original Bayveiw next door?. What a beautiful old home)

we stayed at this inn for one night unfortunately we had some emergency and we have to leave the next day but the accomodation are great, the staff very helpful they even have a shuttle to go to town which was very nice , also the breakfast was excellent and the view of the Frenchman's Bay from our room was just glorious a plus if you have to take the ferry to NS its just next door , and they will even take you there., really great service. The service was very friendly and they went out of their way to see we were comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide choice of items. and the best part was it was included in the room price. I have paid $10 for the one next door with a lot less to chose from. The rooms were large and very clean with a great view of the ocean (all rooms have an ocean view) I highly recommend the Bayview and will stay there again

Very quaint inn. Low key with a nice view of Frenchman's Bay. Stayed five nights and would return. Acadia Na Park is wonderful, must eat at Jordan Pond. If you are a golfer, Kebo Valley is a must. Only suggestions are: new matresses and update air conditioners. Great Stay!

We thought it was a great place. Small and quaint, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was very nice with it's own little private balcony. We would absolutely stay there again!!

My wife and I just spent a week at the Bayview Inn. The only thing better than the Breakfasts, location less than a mile from Bar Harbor, Acadia Nat'l Park, and large well furnished rooms is the courteous professional staff. Ocean front rooms with good sized porches and great view. Oh, did I almost forget the fresh homemade cookies served each afternoon: Wonderful surprise.

This hotel is very convenient, offering shuttle service to the main downtown area which saves the hassle of parking. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms overlooking the water are wonderful. We would definitely opt to stay here again.

We stayed in the townhomes. They are well furnished - maybe a little older - but still functional. The kids loved it-skipping rocks and exploring the shore was their favorite. Can't wait to go back!

We stayed at the Bayview Hotel last year and have already booked for this summer. We stayed originally for the quiet oceanside location and are coming back for those two reasons and because of the terrific, attentive staff and delicious breakfasts!! HIGHLY RECOMMMEND!!
