Geddy's Pub, Bar Harbor

Friendly staff and good food. My calamari appetizer was perfect. Husband had the pizzaburger which got a thumbs up. Wood fired pizza was also a big hit. Fish dinner was tasty but had way too many french fries. Onion rings were very good and the order was huge. Good experience.

I can see why there are no reviews for 2011 who'd want to go..slow service with no smiles at the door and a bar that screams tense..sorry we waited in line to get poor serfvice and below average food..what happened

Geddy's had a fun atmosphere, and a wait to be seated, but the food was not quite satisfactory. Three of us were all 'blah' about the food. Service was ok. The next day we ate at Gateway Lobster Pound, now there is an experience! Excellent food and service and the best home made pumpkin pie I've ever had in my life!

Awesome food! My sister had a spinach salad with pan seared scallops while I enjoyed a caesar salad with pan seared scallops. The salads were huge and were very tasty. Service was average, but the food made up for it. We will definitely return if we return to Bar Harbor.

Went last night, should have known by the guy at the door that no one would be happy there. He had a smirk on his face and lacked any kind of personality, the waitress never offered us refills on our drinks. The food was about average, basically a 99, Uno's style resturant. Pizza was cheaply made with hardly any toppings. Only thing good about the place was the decoration.

I love Geddy's. It is my favorite place to eat when my husband and I visit Bar Harbor. My fave's are the guacamole, lobsta roll, barbecue chicken pizza and the blueberry beer complete with a few Maine blueberries floating in it. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

We stopped in here to grab some food before our boat cruise. I had the Hawaiian burger (teryiaki, pineapple salsa, and swiss cheese) and my husband had the pizza burger. The burgers were awesome...and the french fries were really good too! To complete the experience, our server was very nice and the food arrived really fast. If I make it back to Bar Harbor (and I hope I do), I will be visiting Geddy's again.

This place was pretty unique. It has tons and tons of odd decorations inside (license plates, signage, etc). It feels very trendy. Likes: A large variety on the menu. Unlike most of the places in the area, Geddy's doesn't serve just seafood.. you can get pasta, burgers, pizza, and more.. and at a relatively reasonable price. I had the Fish & Chips, not an adventurous choice to say the least, but the portions came back huge and was more than satisfying. Dislikes: This was unfortunate, but we were seated without a menu. It lead to quite a bit of delay in our ordering. Even the server was baffled why the host did not return with menus. Our server was okay, we did see our food ready at the window a solid 2-3 minutes before he seemed to figure out which table it went to. But it was still hot, so no harm done. Another cool thing about Geddy's is their full gift shop downstairs. This is the only place I picked up a shirt from as a souvenir. The prices could be cheaper on some items, but what can you expect from a tourist town? Overall.. its definitely a place to check out and have lunch or dinner.

Honestly, this was the best place we found to eat while we were in Bar Harbor. The kids loved that their meals came on Geddy's frisbies, and there were little lizards on top of their drinks. I loved the crab roll and really liked the lobster roll. The waitress took our picture at our table both days we were there to put on the web site (she asked permission first). It was a friendly crowd. We went early and missed the evening (more grown-up group) and were able to get lunch prices up until 5:00 p.m. Very cool! Jo
