Not true Mexican, but good!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/13/08
This is not truly authentic Mexican food, but it is very good! It is a great place to get together with a large party. The service is superb. They do add in the gratuity, if you are in a large group, but that is not a problem to me. Their drink specialty, of course, is a wide array of fantastic Marguaritas! Mmmmm!

Very busy, even on a Weds evening. Friendly service. Nice atmosphere. I am from San Antonio, TX so I was curious how a "Mexican" restaurant in New England would be. The presentation and food quality were very good. A little on the expensive side ($15 for a plate of plain beef fajitas, but for the area this may not be priced high). The tortillas were what a San Antonian would call "store bought" (thin, flimsy, rubbery like what we would buy prepackaged on a store shelf). The meat was very tender, but did not appear to be the traditional fajita cut of meat (skirt steak) and had little to no noticeable seasoning. The same proved to be true for the rice and beans. The salsa for the chips was spicy but not particularly robust or flavorful adequate and again, not what you would get at any high or low end Mexican rest. in SA. Overall, nice try. If you are hoping for a real taste of Mexican food you may be disappointed otherwise Margarita's is a nice place to have a bite.

Not cheap but the food is good for mexican. I am not a real fan of Mexican food but they have one thing I really like and that's the chimi-changas. DO TRY their FRIED ICE CREAM. You won't be dissapointed!!

Starts out ok....

Drinks are ok, appetizer was edible, main course was bland, service was less than average. Will not go back. Not real Mexican food.

Always a pleasure...great service!
By PeeJ, 10/28/05
I have been to this Margarita's twice now and I must admit that I am more impressed then any other restaurant I have been to. The ambiance is excellent with a fireplace and soft lighting and beautiful mexican music softly in the background.. the strawberry-raspberry margarita is by far the smoothest easiest to drink margarita there is very sweet and tasty! Prices are rangy from about 13 to 20 for most meals and the cheapest appetizer is probably around 8 but the quality and quantity certainly make the value great! You have got to try this place!
