There is another asian restaurant in South Portland, ME that gets most of the attention and most of the awards for asian cuisine. I was told by friend that this place is good. Although skeptical, I tried it. I was able to tell by the look apperance that I was going to enjoy the food. After eating several bites, I had made up my mind that the flavor and quality was second to none. Since them, I visit this little gem as often as possible. I've been close to China several time by traveling to Hong Kong. I believe this qualifies me more than most to testify the authenticity of the wonderful little restaurant. You cannot go wrong. This place needs to expand by moving into a location that allows for more seating. The current seating is sparse and could not hold more than twelve people at a time. This is my only criticism. TRY IT AND YOU WILL BE PLEASE. If you are used to the Wok Inn and some of the other greasy places in town, you may not be able to appreciate this fine, fine food.
Not much to look at and pretty easy to pass, but the food is the best around for sure! Nice Mom and Pop kind of place. I have eaten here about 15 times and a bad day here is still better than any other carryout you can find in town. Check it out!
