I've been going to Pepper Club for years. Whenever a tourist asks me for a restaurant recommendation, Pepper Club is one of the top three I mention. They are well-known for their fantasic vegetarian dishes but also have an assortment of meat and seafood dishes too. Creativity is their forte and the menu and ambiance reflects that.
It was terrible. We waited 20 minutes before the server took our order. It took an additional 40 minutes for only part of our food to come out. It ended up being a burned omlet. There were not many people in there so I'm not sure why the service was so slow and the food was burned. We ended up leaving and going over to the Porthole on Commercial St for breakfast.
We thought it was GREAT!! Tried it this Mar. (20011), during Restaurant Week. The service was great (we did make reservations ahead of time), the food was really terrific, and I appreciate all the vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options, plus all the things for omnivores... meat, fish, etc. We'll definitely go back!
I'm going to be recommending it to others! Maybe since it was a Thursday night, it was not as crowded at it might have been on a weekend night.
