Nothin' better under the Bama Sky

If you are a college football fool, this is one of the most hallowed shrines to go to you will find. Granted, it has undergone a significant face-lift in a multi-million dollar renovations process completed last year which makes it COMPLETELY different than the way it was when The Bear roamed the sidelines on Saturday's in the fall. However, these renovations, including the new Walk of Champions at the north end zone, are something to see and live up to the hype about the tradition of Crimson Tide Football.
Make sure you have on some comfortable walking shoes as this is without a doubt one of the most beautiful college campuses in the country. If you are travelling in the summer, make sure you stop and smell the magnolia trees in June on the Quad. They are at their peak either early in the morning or at dusk. And if you are getting hungry, make sure you save some room to eat at the quintessential college restaurant in Northport -- take University Blvd. toward downtown and hang a right on 359 to Northport, cross the Black Warrior river and take the first exit off-- City Cafe in downtown Northport. Get there early as the lines form quickly for lunch;you might want to get there at 10:45-- but you will get four vegtables, a meat and all the sweet tea you can drink for under $6.00!
T-town is what going to college is all about!!
