Description

The Rustridge Ranch and Winery offers 450 acres (182 hectares) of vineyards, pastures and oak trees. Take a picnic lunch up to the ranch, where the young foals are a treat to watch. Or stay over at the bed-and-breakfast, where the family looks after your every requirement. Visit the winery and discover the intricacies of making wine—Chardonnay, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Zinfandel are all produced here, although a majority of the grapes are sold to other wineries. Whether it's the ranch, the wine or the stay that interests you, RustRidge is a lovely place to visit.

BEST PLACE EVER

When I first stayed at this ranch, I had ppans for it! Fixing up the fences so our Thoroughbreds couldn't jump over them, fixing the boat we have, and making the history of the land and the family that runs it really pop out. And just because some people are to into the city life to enjoy ranches like these doesnt mean that it isnt the best place to stay and feel welcomed! The beds are SO comfortable and the people are as nice as ever and it really gives you that rustic feel! Sure its a little off the beaten track but that doesnt mean that it isnt special or not worth it!

Not a good experience

The setting is beautiful, but the place is run down and not well kept. It was defintely overpriced for what it is. The beds, furniture, linens are all old and very used. It just has a felling as if the place is fading away. The food was rather bland. There is just nothing very special about this place. Also, it is WAY off the beaten path. It is a good 30 minutes on very windy roads, just to get into town. The winery has the same feel as the house, very run down and not kept up.

Relaxing Vacation Spot in Beautiful Surroundings

RustRidge is not only a very cozy and welcoming BnB, it is a working Horse Ranch and Winery. Only 15 minutes from the hustle and bustle of the Napa Valley floor, this was a real treat. We were able to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the ranch, complete with sweet tempered Labradors, barn kitties, and a morning swim, and just a short drive away was world class dining, and more wineries to tour. Make your reservations well in advance, this place books up quickly.

Loved It

Excellent experience on a working Ranch and Winery. Had teh opportunity to not only see them pick trhe grapes but to also help out and see the whole process through crushing. Great breakfast and the owners and staff are very friendly. The best part are the tour guides. Tosca and Charlie. If you can live without TV and your cell phone this is a very good place.
