With a panoramic view overlooking the Salt Lake Valley, the amphitheatre makes for a quiet evening out with melodious music complementing the scenic vista. Be it the Utah Symphony, the Youth Choir or any music band, the blend of soulful music and scenic landscape forever linger in the mind long after the last chord is struck. The amphitheater may also be rented for private/corporate events. Please call for further information.
If you are sitting in some spots on the lawn you hear from speakers on the posts and speaker in front so you get an echo effect that really is bad and disturbing. You can tell management really does not care. Supposedly reserved seats are available. But, you better know someone to get one.
Only people who are "friends of the right people can get them". I was even told this by a gal in the box office.
Love the atmosphere outside, although it can be hot in the sun. The growing trees on the west side are helping some. The will call window was very long, because it was the same line as the purchase line--discouraging! The volunteers are rather bossy and not very organized. Most things we've seen have been very good! Love when the prices are so reasonable. Sandy is lucky to have such a nice amphitheater!
