The history of this oratory, built on the wishes of the Bishop of Pienza, is a strange one. It was originally located in the Malavolti castle consisting of houses and towers but the houses were turned into a nobleman's palace in the 14th Century. Only an expert eye could trace the lines of the ancient oratory but the spirit of the place is very strong.
