Description

Here's a photo opportunity! Worthy of a visit, the Bob Marley statue greets you at the entrance to Independence Park -- a "must" if your're a visitor to Kingston. Heralded as one the most famous personalities to come out of Jamaica, Robert Nesta Marley was the first to expose Jamaica's indigenous music, "Reggae" to the world.

this place is the worst place to go on a vacation because the place smells like smoke and the walls are coverd with mold and cralling with bugs, me and my wife even got to sou the place because when we got out we noticed that all of are kids had been blinded by the ugly pictures of goege bush that were in there.

Best time ever!
By ,
My husband and I have always loved Bob Marley for his music, but this tour showed me that Bob was so much more than that. I loved seeing his home and his family and friends. It was such a wonderful place where love, peace and happiness could be felt everywhere. I loved the bus ride to St. Ann. The Jamaican people are so friendly they would wave to you as the bus passed or when the bus stopped I met a lovely local man who just stopped to say Hello. Then we got to Bob's home and everyone was so nice. We got to see Bob's first piano and his gold records and the bed he was born in. We got to meet his uncle who gave Bob his first guitar. I thought it was one of the best things I have ever experienced. I will definitely be going back as soon as I can get back to Jamaica.
