Cook's Lobster Pound, Bailey Island

COOKS IS A WONDERFUL MEAL IN AN ESTABLISHMENT DEVOTED TO SUPERIOR FOOD. NEVER MET A PERSON WHO DIDN'T LOVE COOKS. ALL THE SUPERLATIVES APPLY

The ride to Cook's is awsome,great views at every turn.When you arrive your surrounded by what I call Maine at it's best.The ocean,working boats in the harbor bringing in fresh lobster and the worlds only Cribstone bridge. The moment you walk in the restaurant,you feel like you found why you came to Maine. The interior is rustic.Food and service exellent.4lb lobster or lobster roll, both were great.We even saw a rainbow during dinner. We strolled along the beach and collected sea glass after our meal.The sunset was amazing.Don't miss this one when you go to Maine.

Over priced,outside seating has a nice view of the parking lot

Amazing view of the Bailey Island bridge with delicious lobster casserole and probable the best blueberry pie in New England! You just can't get fresher lobster dishes anywhere else.

I ate at two restaurants on Bailey Island, Cook's Lobster House and Estes II. Cook's did have a full bar which was nice, and the food was good, but the prices were astronomical. I couldn't believe the price difference for virtually the same menu between the two restuarants. Estes II was by far the better deal and in my opinion had a much better view. Next time I take my friends out I will take them to Estes, which I now consider the best kept secret on Bailey Island.
