Even though they were about to close we were accommodated never the less. The food was great the services was 5 star the atmosphere was very relaxing. This is our own private getaway once a month

I am the manager of this beautiful "Garden setting oasis" in the middle of the "hustle and bustle" of New Kingston, I am truly sorry to hear that the customers that was present at this restaurant experienced poor service. I must say reading this has come off as a shock to me and i have replaced the entire staff since then in about july. I must asked that if you ever decide to visit us here at Heather's Garden Restaurant be sure to ask for me Lesley-Ann Touzalin. I've given myself a couple of weeks to allow the emotion to go away and so attempt to describe my experience as accurately as possible. My wife and I ate at this restaurant on Monday evening, June 9, 2008. Yes the setting is just as you may have seen described elsewhere, but our greeting and service from our waitress was glum, unsmiling and monosyllabic to the point of being almost hostile. Every time she returned to our table the experience was the same, with a look you would usually reserve for a bag of dirt. I was so tempted to put a big fat zero in the space on the bill reserved for tip/service but I didn't want to make a scene and so left 10%, but I don't know why. We were both our usual polite selves from the moment we entered the premises to the moment we left. So what conclusions can I draw from this? Oh, by the way my wife is black, very pretty and a few years younger than me. I am not black. Do you think that maybe somebody was jumping to their own conclusions?

I love this place because it's really enchanting.The food is also great.Even though my aunt owns it, i'm giving an honest judgement as a customer.It's a great place to sit with the family or with your special someone and eat. Even if your a loner, the staff will make you feel like family.Heather's is a 10/10!!
