Chunping Lau, Kittery

The food was unsatisfactory. The person who previously said the crab ragoons were tough was 100% right. They were not only tough but the inside was dry and not that tasty as well. They said they may have been 'over cooked' but we've ordered these twice, once last year and again just the other day, and they were the same both times. So either they consistantly overcooked them, or they are just plain bad. The white rice was beyond bad. The grains were tiny, tasted bad, and was slightly uncooked. The chicken fingers were mostly just thick, at least 1/2 inch, floury batter witth a tiny piece of chicken inside. Gross. We told them the time we'd be in to pick up the food and picked it up within 20 of that time, so saying it was our fault for not picking up the food in a timely manner is incorrect, as suggested by them in retort to another bad review. I wish I could say something nice about this local business, but really, it was just bad.

very dirty its pretty much take out cheap eats that are so-so. The best part is you can take as much duck sauce as you want.

Chun Ping Lau has been our family favorite for over ten years. We've tried other places, but always wind up back in that little restaurant! The food is always freshly prepared and so tasteful that we don't use any sauces or flavorings when eating. The staff treats us like family. You can watch the staff cooking in the kitchen - no surprises here! I rate this restaurant's food five stars without hesitation! If you're looking for ambiance, I suggest you create it at home while enjoying take out. The food cannot be beat - even reheated the next day!
