Description

One of Seville's most impressive structures, it was originally the Mohammedan minaret and attached to a mosque. La Giralda was later converted into the bell tower of the Seville Cathedral . It's well worth climbing to the top for some stunning views of the city.

it was for the mosque ...in same site of cathedral....it was enjoyable trip with my family.....when u see la giralda u will see the job of great muslim builders

beautiful view from the tower

admission fee: 7,5 euro for adults and 2,50 euro for under 26 years old persons. impressive architecture, but very gloomy and dark, bronze and gold statues, huge interior spaces. worth climbing to the top of the giralda tower, with a beautiful 360Âº view of the city. Beware of the huge bells over your head!!! they start ringing when you least expected!!
