Tokyo Disney Resort
Consisting of Tokyo Disneyland, Tokyo DisneySea, several hotels, and a shopping area with more than 100 stores and restaurants, the Tokyo Disney Resort is like a town in itself. The theme parks have various events, parades and live shows all round the year.
We did a 3 day passport. Rode every ride, some multiple times. Disney Sea was a lot less crowded then Disneyland. 10-15 min wait TOPS for a ride. A lot of characters at both parks, way more than we've seen at DisneyWorld.
Get a souvenir popcorn bucket for about 1300 yen and then get refills for 500 for anytime you are ever in either of Tokyo's two parks with the bucket. Curry was my favorite. They also had honey, salted, soy sauce with butter, chocolate, strawberry, caramel.
One thing I didn't like was with the new Monsters, Inc ride. We were there when the park opened and went directly to Monsters. Our intention was to get a fast pass and move on to something else. Apparently everyone else had the same thought. The line for fast pass was HUGE. The sign said 100 min wait for standby so we just decided to do it and get it over with. We actually only stood in line for 30 minutes and we were on the ride! If they would have correct signage that would be great. This was the only sign though that we found to be wrong.
All the cast members were very friendly as well. Also you are allowed to bring in food and/or drink of your own, though there wasn't anyone with huge coolers or anything.
This is our second time living in Japan; this time with a toddler! We first went to Tokyo DisneyLand when she was only 2 years old -- We all loved it! It was truly a magical experience for my daughter. All the princesses are very true to character (which means most or all of them speak english)... and of course, my daughter got the Royal Treatment! She didn't blend in with the predominately Asian crowd, so the Princesses migrated towards her!
The next trip we visited DisneySea-- an absolutely wonderful place! It has the Arabian Coast from Alladin and the Mermaid Lagoon, as well rides from 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, and other "boy-adventures" as well.
We have been to DisneyLand and DisneySea at least 4 times each, and it continues to be a fantastic place to visit!
Tokyo Disney Resort is a wonderful place for fun & excitment. The Land & Sea Parks are so varied in rides, theme & fun tt U will want to visit the resort again & again by the way this is alr my 3rd time to the resort. heehee enjoy the fun there. cya :)
I visited Tokyo Disney Sea two monthes ago. It was a very attractive place. In the town, the music is so sweet. You can take a romantic trip in the river. You can also try some action games. You may also enjoy the show Magic lamp. Many attractions here. Shopping is also a interesting thing here. The only annoying thing is over crowed in weekend, holidays, so you have to queue a very long trail to enjoy a game.
