Disneyland Resort Paris
The Disneyland Resort Paris offers an astonishing array of activities to keep visitors busy throughout their stay. Hotels, restaurants, shopping, nightclubs, live entertainment, and sports facilities are all part of the Resort in case enough time is left after the main attraction: Disneyland Park, where families can enjoy already-famous and brand-new rides, and meet their favorite Disney characters for an autograph and a picture. Disney characters also roam Walt Disney Studio Park, where attractions demonstrate what happens behind the scenes to create favorite Disney movies, such as animation techniques, special effects and stunts, or live-action shooting. To round out the day and continue into the night, Disney Village of the Disneyland Resort offers even more attractions, including a games arcade, a concert venue, a nightclub, a cinema showing new releases, and an IMAX theater. 68 restaurants, found throughout both Parks and Disney Village, offer fast-food or sit-down service, ice cream or pizza parlor, to experience a variety of world cuisines. Special events, ticket packages, and shows throughout the Resort and throughout the year make Disneyland a spectacular destination anytime.
It was a waste of time and money in fact i didn't even go to save myself from the hassle. I would not visit this place at all if i were you. Save your self from a pointless trip that only a child of maybe 7 would enjoy.
We were very dissapointed. For every single ride the lines were so long (between 70 and 120 minutes) that we did not go on a single ride. Even to take a photo with one of the disney characters - you had to wait in line for 20 minutes! Our 6-year old daughter was very dissapointed but even she didnt want to wait in line for hours to go on a 5 minute ride. We probably went at a bad time - end of august - but that means that disneyland paris definitely cannot cope with the number of people coming in. The price was expensive - almost 60 euros per person - and since you could barely walk around becuase it was so crowded we left after 2 hours and went back to town. Europapark in Germany is MUCH better - we had been there in july - so also during the summer holidays - and we were still able to go on LOTS of rides and enjoy ourselves - the entry ticket were half the price of Disneyland and definitely worth it. The people were friendlier and Europapark is much cleaner too.
I dnt think there is anythin bad to say about disneyland resort, okay mayb its a little overpriced but its all worth it! its fun for all ages and expecially for people who love disney!
ive been 4 times and going back in July 08
i cant wait!
it never gets boring!
we stayed in Hotel cheyanne all times, but this time staying in Santa fe and we are hoping it will be just as good!
It is an amazing park and an exalent day out with family or friends. If you are a fan of rides or disney you are sure to have a great time.
I would say that if you have being to the american disneys, don't exspect the same, this park is not quite as spectacular with afew less rides and some rides on a smaller scale.
If bigger rides and lower cost is your thing you should look into Park Astrix. they are both an equal distance from the city.
It was the best holiday I've been to with rides for all and was fun for the whole family. Even parents felt like kids while having the time of their lives on the rides and getting autographs.
I would recommend it to anyone especially those with children. No matter what your age you will have the time of your life with the magic of Disney!!!!
I loved the atmospher the cast (workers) created at this Disneyland resort. Everyone was very aimiable and friendly and it was always, "Have a magical day!" WE stayed at the Hotel New York in a lakeview room. The lake was beautiful. When we first arrived there it was an ice rink, if you want to ice skate make sure you check the dates before your departure. Each morning in the hotel is a wonderful selection of hot delicious breakfast foods for buffet. There is nothing continental about it. My kids were 6, 5, & 2 at the time of the trip and they each loved it. We ate at Cafe Mickey twice and the food is the best. We actually made reservatiions before we arrived in Paris which was a great idea because there were many who had to stand in line and wait forever while we were able to go right in. At the hotel New York the characters are always there for a photo op. I can't wait to take the kids back!
