Horse's Tavern, Paris

Stayed with friends in an apt right on Rue Monsieur Le Prince, so we tried Horse's Tavern mostly out of convenience. My friend had a craving for onion soup & they have an excellent version -- thick & flavorful, gooey cheese croutons, served molten hot. We went back again for dinner another evening and had steak tartar, along with two versions of mussels -- one classic with white wine & shallots, the other with a curry sauce. Both were excellent. We're from San Francisco, and are comfortable being called "food snobs" -- we researched many places to go for food in Paris, where we had moderate to great food. This place was a spontaneous choice and we'd heartily recommend it to anyone, as well as make a return visit should we ever find ourselves in Paris again!!

We have visited this restaurant a number of times over the last 5 years. The food is ALWAYS good. The staff is wonderful and fun. We love this place. The salmon and the mussels are our favorites.

I really liked this place the food was great, and it was not to expensive i highly recommend this to anyone planning to visit the great city of Paris.
