Flavorful and different

The restaurant features food from the Basque region of France, very tasty and a bit more home style than most bistros. My husband had a shrimp and fennel starter, delicious duck breast, strawberries and vanilla glace; I had a lamb and vegetable saute, chocolate ganache for dessert. A nice Basque red wine by the glass. Rich and satisfying. Off the beaten path and an old, rustic interior with character.
