Reminet (Le), Paris

Location is great just across from Norte Dame. The atmospere was quaint and private in the downstairs cellar. The food was very good. The rabbit was outstanding.

My husband had eaten at this restaurant once before while on a business dinner and remembered it as being very good, so when he and I went to Paris on our own we sought it out for dinner one night. I was immediately struck by the adorable interior-- the candlelight made the room look incredibly romantic and intimate. The staff were all very nice-- we were there with a friend and when they realized they'd accidentally marked our reservation for 2 people instead of 3, they were quick to find us a new table amongst the crowded rooms. Once seated, our waiter was friendly and responsive, not too intrusive nor too aloof. Our food was amazing-- my husband rated his dish as one of his top 5 best meals ever. I had veal with potatoes and a sauce that I can best describe as heavenly. The "entree" and desserts were equally appetizing. In the end, 3 of us had eaten an appetizer, main course, and dessert, and shared a bottle of wine, for about $65 per person-- not bad at all. I highly recommend this place, we found it fabulous and will be seeking it out again in the future, I'm sure.

Fun little cafe with Michelin star quality food at reasonable prices. Owner /staff speak better engish than they act, which adds to the fun. Tough to find the first time but worth the trek...off on a connector street near the TourD'Argent..Left Bank accross from the far E end of the Notre Dame A France dining highlite' superb

Typically parissienne bistrot but serving exceptional food. whetther eating fish, meat or offal- I had veal kidney....delicious- everything at our table was cookd to perfection. Wine list was comprehensive and whilst there are some moderately priced wines, the meal deserved something a little special. Typically the tables are close together but it all adds to the overall intimacy of the restaurant.
