Cristal Room Baccarat (Le), Paris

The food is great, creative and very well presented. The wait staff is efficient and respectful however, not friendly. The negative point is the reservation process. It is advisable to call back and triple check the time and table preference of your reservation. They had the wrong information twice for us and even gave us attitude. When we said we would cancel, which we did in the end, they became more responsive. Too little too late!

The restaurant and museum are both gorgeous, Phillipe Starke design with the most spectacular Baccarat creations you will ever see. A very romantic and luxurious feel. The food was excellent, better than we expected, to be honest. It's not Pierre Gagniere but it is certainly marvelous dining. We were six, in a private dining alcove room, all sophisticated Parisians except me, and everyone was pleased.
