pretentious and costly

It's not Italian, doesn't taste Italian, some of it is not up to standard, and I had a rough wine (a 2003 Barbaresco) for 80 Euros.The bill is very steep. I'm amazed Michelin gave a star to this establishment.
If cost is no object and people want to see and be seen and not too much concerned with what's in the plate and in their glass then probably it's to be considered.
