Best Meal in Paris

We picked this restaurant quite by accident. We were just walking by and looking for somewhere for dinner. The Art Nouveau decor is marvelous. What a joy to see. The food is excellent. I greatly recommend the fixed price menu. A wonderful selection and every course you can think of. The service was good and the staff seemed very pleased to have us there. We enjoyed the experience so much we went back for our farewell dinner. Now we're looking forward to visiting again whenever we return to Paris.

Wonderful decor, even better food

This restaurant was two doors away from our hotel. We were walking past it one morning when an elderly woman proceeded to tell us (in French! - which I understand only when spoken slowly) all about how wonderful this restaurant is. That evening we decided to take a chance and eat there. The woman was right! The decor is wonderful, the menu varies from simple to gourmet, the service is excellent, and the the food is wonderful. We went twice in a five-day visit and would go again.

Real French Food, Fantastic Decor

We stumbled on this restaurant quite by chance at lunch time and were lucky enough to book a table for Saturday evening. The decor is fantastic, I love art noveau and I was in heaven. The food was fantastic, the staff were friendly and polite, even though English was a bit of struggle for our waiter he was cheerful and very happy to help. The staff all work well together and clearly enjoy their work. The food was authentic french and excellent. Congratulation to the whole team we had a fantastic evening, one I will remember for years to come.

Charming and surprising!

This is my great-aunt's favorite restaurant in Paris, so when I went to visit her there, she insisted we go to Montparnasse 1900. The decor is charming, the service very attentive, and the food spectacular! It definitely added to the experience of exploring the 6th arrondissement.

Tres Bien

My husband and I recently visited Paris and had the pleasure of enjoying a meal in Montparnasse 1900. From the moment we arrived the service was very attentative and friendly, and so we knew it was the correct choice for our last meal in Paris before we returned home to Dublin, Ireland. The surroundings are so opulent and the menu is uncomplicated and succinct. We chose the soup and pork terrine to start, both were presented well and full of flavour. For main course we had rack of lamb and salmon both of which were delicious. To accompany these superb dishes we had some excellent wine chosen by our waiter. We also managed to have dessert of creme brulee and profiteroles and two very fine coffees to complete our lavish meal. It was a pleasure to dine at this restaurant and I will recommend it to friends visiting the beautiful city of Paris!
