Charly O'Neill's Irish Pub, Geneva

I enjoy going to Chaly Oneils for a good pint or two and to watch the football with my mates. A little expensive though, especially the food which none of us could recommend. But I suppose thats Geneva which everyone uses as an excuse.

If you a wanting a good drinking mans pub this is one of the better ones I have discovered in Geneva. The bar staff are kind and very welcoming and seem to know what they are doing. The Irish barman with a name I can sadly never pronounce properly is always the member of staff there that stands out the most. But on a negative note I cannot recomend the food there which can only be described as bland and greasy and very expensive for what you eventually get. Good for a drink with friends but very bad for inviting said friends for so called English pub grub.

I loved everything about Charlys. The atmosphere, the sport and people who know how to pour Guinness!!! But more importantly, the food was exceptional. Beautiful presentation and great quality. I was recommended this by a friend and I found out a team of English chefs were there. Its an absolute must for any person visiting Geneva.

This is a great place with relaxed atmosphere with mixed crowd and great football matches on the tele, the only problem is the prices are out of this world but suppose that is becasue it is Geneva.. check it out--you will not be disappointed.. cheers!

You must go to this pub. Bands, TV, and nice live concerts! Well the prices are not given but the atmospher is really irish!-) Go in and have fun!
