South Beach, Miami Beach

South Beach is definitely a great place to go. I like the crowd,beach, music & food especially the Mango Cafe. Relaxing!!! I will go there if I'm going to Miami again.

What can I say, I love Miami South Beach. I live in Chicago, and I visited down there about two years ago and I have been stuck ever since. I've even got a few of my friends stuck on Miami as well. I love the atmosphere, the people, the colors, the sounds and the music. It's like a home away from home to me, because the people are so different from Chicago. I get tired of being in the snow and cold, and SoBe has that right kinda warmth my body craves each and every year. I've made it a yearly ritual that I have to say, that I will do for the rest of my life.

Ocean Drive is a great street for people watching, especially at the Mango Cafe. The South Beach area is great for young, single people. That said, my 6-month-old enjoyed the colors & sounds on a family walk down Ocean. Food is a little pricey, but good & lots of restaurants to choose from.

Billdings are to Big und in the afternoon you sitt in the shade on the Beach? And in order to get good servic you must speak spanisch,no parking

What can I say about a place which had not already been given rave reviews in the travel books or shown in practically any movies/TV shows filmed in Miami, except that you need to be there to experience it! The numerous bars and eating places, Art Deco buildings, Lincoln St Mall and not forgetting the stretch of sandy beaches - there are enough things to keep you wanting to come back for more. This place gets extremely crowded after sunset, so if you want to enjoy the place without the crowds, the afternoon is your best bet.

The beach was beautiful and the water felt like taking a warm bath. Ocean drive was very busy and very touristy and the stores were rediculously overpriced. The nightlife? Definately for the 20 somethings and people who like to watch the 20 somethings. If you like trendy then South Beach is where you need to go.

You have to visit this place as it's the image many have of Miami. This is Mecca for Art Deco fans. The beach is pretty good and if you like to people watch, this is the place to be. The boardwalk is also a nice walk. However, hotels are pretty expensive and the cheaper ones are really old, but have character. Probably not a great place for kids and you can see a bit pretentious

South beach, you've got celebrities, wealth, warm weather, beautiful people and the beach. It's a fun place to visit for a weekend. But much more than a weekend, is kind of a waste. First time I went, i had a great time, but after subsequent visits, it was all the same.

South Beach is one of those places that you have to experience to believe! The atmosphere, the crowds, the shopping, food, the VIEW is amazing. You can leave you hotel room at any time and find something wonderful to do! This place is definately worth the money, it is time well spent! If I could bottle up just a little of South Beach and bring it back with me to experience from time to time...I would be in heaven!
