South Beach, Miami Beach

Young people are here to party! All of the hotels I've stayed at are expensive and noisy.The older hotels that have been refurbished have very thin walls, so if you like to get some sleep, choose a newer hotel. the night life is fantastic, but a family can have fun during the day at the beautiful beaches, restaurants, and shopping. Make sure to see the sunrise and swim while the Ocean is flat and clear in the early morning. Espanola street is a must, good for family meals. Lincoln street can be great on the right night but if you have little ones steer clear after nine o'clock. There are some great authentic Cuban cafes on Washington. If you don't want to be too close to the party, I advise staying north up in Miami beach, it's very nice and a short drive away.

The place is one of the best places i have ever been . You can get do everything from have a quite time at the beach to party all night long. .

I LIKE THE MALL THAY HAVE STUFF NO ONE HAVE IN WASHINGTON COUNTY HAVE I REALLY LIKE THE BEACH ALSO IT IS REALLY HOT AND PLENTY OF PLACES TO GO

miami is great you would never get sick of the beautiful weather all year round, the water is so blue green,the cuban food is awsome ian its just so international their beautiful place to live.

South Beach is just too much noise and a big money trap. The sidewalk resturants want your money, but when we were trying to find shelter from the rain they told us we couldn't stand under their canopy. It also is a bad influence for teens and children. CW.

Miami was great we really had a great time. As a couple. Taking you kids for a day or two would be ok. Miami is more of a club scene with entertainment walking everywhere. We would go back again

south beach is great but basically just to go to the beach and go tanning with your friends and family .. well it depends .. there's alot of topless women of all ages and i mean it!!! all ages young and old so taking your kids will bne completely up to you i know my parents nevedr took me to south beach until i started going with my friends like at 13 and saw for myself... theres alot of drinking going on at the beach ... its a safe spot no one messes with you.. the waer is great especially on a hot sunny non windy day.. the best area in south beach is southpointe which is the very 1st beach in oceandrive , every 1 of all ages go especially middl.e and high school students... if you want a good spot near the water i suggewst you go before 12 pm

I loved the warm sunny weather,beautifulclear blue water of the ocean,and the clean beaches.There is alway's something going on in South Beach.It is the happening place for young and old !Just love all the little shopes and restaurant's.It has become our favorite getaway from the pennsylvania cold snowy climate in the winter.

We took a cruise into Miami. The side excursion was South Beach. I guess my expectations were higher than what we saw. However, it was rainy and cloudy thus not many bikinis. Yes lots of expensive cars and outdoor eating.

We love South Beach! An actual walk around area with a heart and soul and a real neighborhood feel. Ocean Drive can get very crowded on the weekends but it is full of life and great for people watching. Great diversity too. Lincoln Road is a unique shopping street full of restaurants and cafes and cinemas. The beach and the art deco architecture are right there in the middle of it all. A wonderful change from the usual tourist destinations in the states. Don't miss it. Not much for the kids to do but there is Jungle Island and Miami Childrens' Museum nearby.
