World Famous Glassbottom Boats
Wait and watch with baited breath as 300 fish species glide along North America's one and only coral barrier reef. To take you down under, the super crew of World Famous Glassbottom Boats is all geared up to let you marvel at the many splendored depths of the Atlantic ocean bed. Add to that, they offer an ecological tour which is informative. The boats are glassed at the bottom to offer pure, unadulterated and constant visage. The Pride of Key West is the latest catamaran to hit the coral shores. It comprises a sun-deck with seats, snackbar, and air-conditioned rest rooms! It sure makes your travel unravel in pleasure.
Expensive boat ride. Only when we launched is when we were told that we are going into the Gulf instead of the Atlantic. They don't tell you that there is nothing to see in the Gulf, nor did they mention you can change your mind and get a refund. We would of had to swim back we if we changed our mind because we already left the dock. Kids were bored. Drove 80 miles to get just for the glass bottom boat and what a complete waste of money. It was a beautiful day. Maybe the Atlantic is further? More fuel to get there?? I don't know. Bring food & drinks if you're hungry, the snack bar is like a vending machine. This was an older boat, but it was clean enough. Expensive boat ride with no view. I asked for a refund because there was nothing to see and I was told no because there was an announcement that the boat will go to the Gulf. Around 150 people on line, loud music nearby, jet-skis roaring people talking. I found out one employee made an announcement with no load-speaker and no one hear what it was about. This boat arrived 1/2 late from a previous trip and there should have been a posting by the ticket booth that you won't see anything. If it was too load to hear the changes, we could of put it in writing by the booth. With all the people they make they can't afford a loudspeaker or a chalk board with conditions & if you would be able to see anything on the glass boat. Complete rip off. Would have been an okay boat ride, that's it.
