Wild Dolphin Adventures, Key West

My family and I went on the boat and were greeted by the friendly Capt. Dave. On the way out it was beautiful. We were accompanied by "dolphin music" which was a riot! When we saw the dolphins we slowed down and waited for awhile. I asked why we were waiting and it turns out that Capt. Dave was waiting for them to wake up! After a while one younger dolphin jumped out of the water and woke the pod up! We then went in the water and the dolphins started to go away. After several tries the other boat that was out with us went in, but Capt. Dave kept trying. Then suddenly the next try the dolphins stayed with us and went at a slow pace so I could swim with them. After many departures and long hellos we finally went back to the harbor after a 3-hour trip that felt like 45 minutes. The trip is truly wonderful. If you are ever in the Florida Keys, this is absolutely the place to go.

We must have seen 40 dolphins in the pod. We swam near them and about 10 went right underneath me and looked up at me as they glided by. Thrilling. We also snorkeled on a coral reef and saw thousands of fish amongst all the corals. Beautiful. Well worth the money. We can't wait to go back again.

We started out with high expectations of seeing dolphins and swimming with them But like any sea animal dolphnis have a mind of their own and they don't like the idea of jumping or swimming for our benefit any more than we would for them! So we just saw three dolphins swimming at distance and they did their best to keep away from us. No swimming or close encounters - totally frustrating and a waste of money for us

i booked this trip over a day long "all-in-one" package pf snorkelling/parasailing/kayaking/wave running why? because this sounds like a great idea of swimming with dolphins - but let me tell you that it was 4 perfevtly good hrs wasted on nothing the dolphins that we saw were so elusive that we hardly spent 1 minute in their proximity let alone swimming with them. also the snorkelling was wasted as the visibility was poor i would serious suggest to anyone to forego this waste of time and do a "all-in-one" tours that Sebago or Fury or SunSet companies provide

For $80 u can actually swim with the dolphins and get all the way up close and personal. Love it. The water is beautiful and so are the dolphins.
