San Ceferino Trattoria
The Trattoria San Ceferino opened in 1998 and is a restaurant situated in the heart of San Isidro's commercial centre. It is easy to find and has a wide-ranging Italian menu. They offer every kind of pasta and pizza, of which the favourites are lasagnes, raviolis and spaghetti dishes. The most requested dish is the famous shrimp dish "Timbal de Camarones". They also have some exquisite wines, which are also a house speciality.
I cannot write enough positive adjectives to describe this place. The food is amazing and immensely tasty. The restaurant has a warm and cosy feel, which serves to enhance the dining experience. However this restaurant's greatest strength is its staff. My girlfriend was fascinated. From the minute we came in we were treated as though were royalty. To say that the staff are friendly and incredibly helpful is an understatement. I strongly recommend San Ceferino and will definitely be returning. However, on weekends, make a booking, as it is very busy!
I went to this place in March 2008. THe food was excellent. I have eating in very good restaurants in NJ and NYC and this place is up there. Please ask for the ostrich, octopus on the grill and fetuccini alfredo.
