B.B King Blues Club & Grill
B.B King Blues serves native New York fare with a hint of the South. Savour delicacies like Southern Style Grits, Chicken Jambalaya, Louisiana Cajun Spiced Popcorn Shrimp and Beale Street Linguini . This place is dedicated to the blues and its fans. Past performers include Erykah Badu, B.B. King and Etta James. The ambience is akin to the constant thrum and hubbub of the very lively, fast paced New York City. Be warned, you're likely to get hooked to the eclectic music and mouthwatering cuisine.
In July of 2007 I attended a Billy Ray Cyrus concert and was impressed with this venue. There was not a bad seat in the house. The food was good, the service was top notch and the proximity to the performer made for a cozy more personal setting. My only negative comment would be that the tables and chairs were close and on the small side. This was my first time at the club I constantly get on the web site looking for more performers I would like to see. Please bring back Billy Ray Cyrus.
We ate at BB Kings in New York on 42nd street
on October 21st. It was the worst food
experience we have had anywhere.
The food was pricey, and when the menu stated southern fried chicken, it wasnt. The Greens were not done and the corn bread wasnt good at all. My family and i travel a lot and we were not happy with the overall food experience at your restaurant. Please revisit your menu items and cook the food to the right style. When we think BB Kings we think soutern greatness and the food was not that.
NOt happy Customer....
A friend recommended we try the Sunday Brunch at B.B.King's Blues Restaurant & Grill. The Brunch was a little pricey, but so is everything else in Manhatten New York. We were blown away by the Gospel Choir. They had everyone "dancing in their seats". In addition, the food buffet was "off the chain". I can honestly say the food was the best that I have eaten all year and I am a Southern Belle. If I visit New York City again, I will ensure that this place is at the top of my list. It was well worth the time and money and I HIGHLY recommend it!!!
