My family and I look forward to the Nevada State Fair every year just before school starts again. We love to go in the evening when the place is lit up with neon and rides take us high into the night sky to overlook our hometown -- it's truly beautiful. We always feel safe with the members of law enforcement actively patroling the area on foot - sheriff's deputies and policemen alike as I recall. Always friendly and helpful! The rides are great fun -- the food is fun fair food -- the games are hard to beat -- shopping is an experience and the exhibits are awe-inspiring! It brings great pride in our state and it's the perfect way to wrap up the summer in anticipation of a new school year!
