Red Jacket Mountain View and Indoor Water Park, North Conway

We rented a Cot for our room. It was folded up to save room during the day. When I went to bed it felt like I was in a huge hole. The front desk people had already gone home so I had no one to complain too. I tossed and turned all night. I didn't sleep at all. I ended up with a bad neck cramp the next morning. When we folded up the Cot we noticed 50% of the springs were missing. I complained to the front desk and they said they would replace it for the next night. We decided to look over the new cot they had brought to the room and found it was missing about 75% of its springs. They said they had no others and I told them they should throw away the two they gave me. Somehow they found one without missing springs. (I wonder who had to sleep on the one with all the missing springs that night. They had to find it somewhere!) Anyways, when I got back home I had to go to a chiropractor to get the pain out of my cramped neck muscles. I called the manager at The Red Jacket Hotel and asked for a refund for one of the nights. They said NO! Well I won't be going back there and most certainly won't recomend it to anyone. I just booked a room today for this year at the Comfort Inn next door to them.

We stayed at the Red Jacket Mountain resort mountain view room last week 2 nights (8/2&8/3.) We had only booked one night, but had such a great time we asked to stay another night & they gave us the room for $20 less. The first night we had a package with the room, water park & breakfast included. My husband, myself, kids (14 & 7.) The kids asked to stay antoher night & include the breakfast. We didn't include the waterpark-everyone was tired from the day before, so we shopped instead. The second day after checkout I left my purse in the room. We had driven almost to Storyland when I called the hotel. They said they had. We went back & I am VERY happy to report it was there with all of its contents. The staff was very nice our whole stay. The kids went to the movie the first night while we went to the prime rib dinner-yum & well worth the money! We are definately going back!

Have stayed at hotel once a year since 1994. Each year service has gotten worse and price has gone up. Stopped staying there 2006, until they put in the water park in 2008. Water park is great, Hotel is bad. Meals are not recommended, only good for laugh. Service is very poor. Not the hotel is used to be. OVER PRICED!!!!

We paid $249 a night to stay here on labor day weekend. I have stayed in a $249 dollar a night hotel and this is far from it! The water park is great and Id recomend staying somewhere else and driving here to use it. The toliet over flowed our first morning, they did come and fix it but left feces on the outside of the toilet. They never came to make up the room until late in the evening even though they where across the hall making up that room since 10 am. When I called to ask if they where going to make up our room and explained they had been across the hall for over 4 hours front desk got huffy and very rude. For the price we paid it was just not worth it!

The Kahuna Laguna is very cool. My grandfather built the building and made it all happen. Now, the townhouse beds are uncomfortable, but condo beds are fine. The waterpark has 4 slides, toddler center, wave pool, cafe', and a 14 gallon bucket that pours water. This is recommended for kids of all ages! Hey even parents enjoy.
