Old Salt Eating & Drinking, Hampton

We drive up from Mass at least once a week. We enjoy the thick, tasty clam chowder and the crabmeat salad sandwitchs. Also, the onion rings are also great. Ahaaa.. getting hungry just writing this review.

Poor service and boring/bland food. Hasn't improved since it was the Corona House/Old Salt on Hampton Beach.

Great package deal, i stayed in the inn and also had a package with the restaurant. Great deal overall. Everything was perfect and i was more than pleased. I will be back!

Great eating and drinking place. Get there early and sit in the lounge. They always have live music Friday and Saturday nights...and the musicians are good. I recommend the fish sandwich, lobster roll, Old Salt chicken...and a Black and Tan. Embrace the tourists, the keep the seacoast alive!

Overpriced, small portions, grumpy service and low grade food...tourist trap, stay away!

one of my favorite restaurants. the all-you-can-eat fish-n-chips is a real belly buster at a good price. one time we were waiting a long time because it was crowded and they gave us desserts on the house. and their desserts are good by the way. the bread pudding was a huge portion - enough for 3 people to share. atmosphere is terrific. the wait staff are pleasant. just a 100% can't-miss place to go.

I am very suprised that this reaturant has so many positive ratings. There are two good things on the menu, the chowder and the baked stuffed lobster. I've been here multiple times are tried other menu items and I have found them all sub-par compared to the baked stuffed lobster. It truely is a great dish. The atmosphere is great though.... Personally I would head to Hagan's Grill or 931 Ocean instead
