We brought my parents here while they were visiting. Initial impression just walking up the stairs was that the place needed a good cleaning, but the restaurant was fairly busy so we thought we could still enjoy a good meal. My father ordered an Angus sirloin steak (medium). The steak was not edible - it was served raw and with a ton of gristle (not Angus or sirloin quality!). He complained the waitress and she mumbled a weak apology. The waitress returned with the same gristly steak, cut in half, and cooked to medium. My father tried to speak to the manager on the way out, but there does not seem to be any interest in customer service at Merlino's. We barely got an apology and still had to pay for the steak. I will never go back here again. There are plenty of wonderful restaurants in the area that are worth visiting. This place will likely be out of business soon if they don't change their tune.
Call the board of health,
From the Pan in to the Oven. After being given the worst setting ever in my life in what most would say was a Green House Oven.
The Wait Staff Was either over worked or over cooked. The produce looked like it came out of the trash or from another plate. Beer was warm. When I went to look for the Manager he was No where to be found. (Rick I am sorry but you need to fix the problems before some one gets sick or hurt.)
I am upset I even have to give a star...I would give it ZERO! It was the worst place I have ever been to. The service (Brenda) was atroshish. She seemed to be put out when you asked for the basics, like drinks. She was incredible cluesless as well.
There were 4 people who ordered. 2 people ordered salads and they were wilted and gross. I ordered a chicken sandwich that was full of gristle.
We were put in the greenhouse that was incredible hot. I got sick and had to leave allowing the rest of my party to wait for Brenda as she slowly returned back to us.
When asked to speak to the manager about the food, there was not one on duty, and the bartender basically said there was nothing they could do about it.
DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT eat here!
