Village Pizza-Alton, Alton

I'm not sure where the other reviews have eaten in their lives, but we've lived all over the US, and this is a terrible pizza. This is pretty much the standard SYSCO pizza crust that is served in convenience stores all over New England, and there is nothing homemade or healthy about it. Everything this place serves is greasy, but that does seem to be what people are accustomed to in Alton. I'd love to see a pizza joint here with real handmade crust, fresh ingredients, some thin crust and/or whole wheat crust offerings, and innovative toppings. Sorry, a frozen California Pizza Kitchen pizza from Hannaford is a much tastier choice. We will eat just about anywhere in Alton, but we never get this pizza.

Great pizza and I like the plants all over the restaurants ceiling. A small nice pizza place. Family owned. Take out time is great, eating is is nice but I almost always take out.

Village Pizza of Alton is a family run business that has been servicing Alton for years and years. Their food is consistantly good, quick prep and inexpensive. We order from here 1-2 times per week, and service is always expedient and friendly. It's so nice to see familiar faces all the time! Employee turnover is very low, which tells me that they're very good to their employees. Just love their greek salads, the kids love the pizza and calzones, and for a little treat, their Onion rings are AWESOME! The only thing that could make this place any better is if they served beer and wine, then I could kick back w/ a glass of zin and some pleasant company while waiting on dinner! Seating is very limited, as is parking, but all in all, what would we DO without the Village Pizza! Tell them Becky sent cha!

We have eaten all over the world, not just the country, and we can tell you that Alton Village Pizza ranks among the best. Great calzones too! Always willing to give you a custom order also which truly makes it hit the spot. Thanks for serving us!!

The Alton Village Pizza has the best pizza around and Ive gone to many towns trying to find pizza that was better. I know for a fact that they make their bread every morning to serve for that day , which is very important too me. They also just remodeled the dining room which looks amazing and has a better feel to it when you sit down to eat. I enjoy going to the Alton village Pizza I hope you do too. Ignore other peoples negative opinions try it yourself and im sure youll love it.

I live in Rochester, and Alton Village Pizza is about 15 miles away from my home. But I will tell you that I find it worth the drive whenever I am in the mood for Pizza. My whole family enjoys all of the foods we've ever gotten from Alton Village Pizza. No other pizza lace can hold a candle to the way Alton Village Pizza prepares their food. It's worth the drive.
