Service at this place is the worst. Have had several problems with the service on multiple visits, I am finally giving up on this place. Too bad, as the beer at this place is pretty good.
If you don't mind waiting about 15 minutes after finally being seated for a rude server to take your drink order, then another 15 minutes to get your drink, and then another long wait for your mediocre/overpriced food to arrive, then this is the place for you.
I loved the food and the atmosphere. I was staying at the Thayers Inn which was cross the street from the restaurant. I loved it so much I went back again another night before I left town. The first time I eat in their tavern. The local chatter was funny and entertaining. The sandwich I had was grilled with turkey, sliced apples, cheddar cheese and a wonderful garlic sauce. I enjoyed the view of Main st. from my window on the second floor.
The second time I went with a business client and we ate in the greenhouse dining room. I was not disappointed and niether was my guest. I enjoyed the Haddock Vera Cruz with it's tomato and herbs with melted cheese. My client had the steak (can't remember name) but it had a gorgonzola pinenut butter on it that he raved about.
I do look forward to going back the next time I am in town!
We ate here last weekend and the service was horrible. The waitress Tara was very rude. She would just dump the food at our table and leave as fast as she could. No smile, no Can I get you anything else? or How is everything? NOTHING. She forgot one of the desserts we ordered and then actually demanded to be tipped when the bill was paid. The only thing that redeemed this restaurant is that the Manager was very understanding, apologized and recognized the need to re-evaluate his staff rather quickly. Because of that, I put some stars back. Its not every day you see Management act so quickly to correct an issue (s). I think I can give it another chance....
Told 20 minutes to sit down... took 45 minutes. Hostess didn't follow up to let us know. Two cleared tables sat unbussed for last 15 of those 45 minutes. Unbussed tables could have been put together Mt. Etna dish and eggplant parmesan were good. Beer seemed watered down. Salads and house dressing were good. Server was friendly and accommodating. Marinara sauce was good. Shrimp scampi was very bland.
I must say we were pleasently surprised at the food, It isn't easy to find a quality dining experience in Littleton, But The Italian Oasis Restaurant has pulled it off!! The food was great! The Home Made Beer was great! the deserts where great!
a 9 out of 10
A must go if your within 50 miles of Littleton..
I've been going here for the pizza and calzones since I was in high school. I've never had a problem with their service or the food, except for the rare occasion I've tried to order something other than pizza. Then its been kind of bland.
