Nonie's Restaurant & Bakery, Peterborough

I was very unhappy with my experience. I have worked ten years as a waitress/bartender and five of those I was restraunt manager at a much larger place so I might notice small details that most people dont...I came in on a Sunday morning and the restraunt owner was there with his kids and had some friends that came to eat and they were al sitting at a table in the corner. I felt like all the attention was on their table they were very loud and the kids were running around like they were running the place I noticed 3 vacant tables that were not cleared and just sitting with the mess for over 10 minutes. When the waitress finally came to our table after she was done talking mwith the owner and his crew she took our order Then went back to talk with them instead of getting our drinks when we finally got our food we asked her for our drinks and we got them after our food. She got my husbands order wrong and we waited so long to get our food that it wasnt worth waiting for the right thing. It also took a long time to get our check and the whole time we were waiting and eating that table was loud and thats what the waitress was foccused on not us or the other couples that were there at the time they also seemed unhappy when we left those tables were still a mess. The food was very good even though we got the wrong order. I dont think it was the waitress' fault at all I think the owner should of looked around and her to pay less attention to them and more to the customers she was young and I think she was just tryin to make the boss happy.but we did not have a very good sunday morning experience the kids were wild and fighting and kinda all over the place. The restraunt could deffinately use an older managment figure get things organized.

I had my breakfast here on the 17th of may 2009 the food was great the service was very very good i enjoyed it i shall return

service is slow here, though the staff is cheerful and seems unaware that the pace is way beyond leisurely. Food is sometimes iffey.

the food was dry and not very good.
