Popular Spot w/Some Good Regional Comfort Foods
Went there for dinner on a late September Saturday by happenstance and was happy with the choice. We had about a 10 minute wait; lots of families/older people. Waitresses were very busy and tried their best to serve. They are smart enough to provide childrens' placemats and crayons. It was tough to choose among several regular menu items and specials. I did like my fried oysters (w/skin-on fries), and other family members liked their hot dog and hamburger platters. Desserts of apple crisp and Indian pudding were very good. (Custard w/Grape Nuts was also on the menu.) Some sides and desserts ran out during our dinner.
