Red Arrow Diner
Truly a legend around Manchester, the Red Arrow Diner is a must for any and all diner lovers. Ranked as one of the top ten diners in the United States by USA Today, the place has as much personality as it has good and delicious food. Not only do major newspapers rank it as a favorite, but the likes of Senator Hilary Clinton, Ty Pennington, and the Barenaked Ladies have all had a bite at the Red Arrow. And with name plates on the booth, you will know exactly who sat in the same seat as you, giving you a brush with fame! Open 24 hours, the diner serves all meals at all times of the day. So whether you are looking for a stack of waffles with peanut butter and chocolate chips in the evening, or a veggie burger early in the morning, the Red Arrow can serve you. The diner has its own line of soda, try the Cream Soda. The Chicken Fingers have an extra spice making them extra juicy and delicious. A wide selection of pies rounds out the menu with fruit and cream pies, as well as fingers which are a lot like Twinkies only in a different dimension entirely.
This place is in the Top 10 lsit of diners in America, and ocne you've spent time in here at various hours of the night and day you'll understand. This place is open 24 hours. From breakfast to late evening it's the homiest little family eatery. Great prices, LOTS of food for small cha-ching, GREAT FOOD. From about 1AM to 4AM this becomes as much a scene as the clubs, resteraunts and bars. The patrons and mostly the staff of the clubs come over here to eat and it takes on the atmosphere of Cheers where everyone knows each other, goodtimes joking and laughing everywhere. It's jsut a great palce to go. I can't recommend it enough!
There's a reason this place makes the top ten list in America!!! Great food, great prices, very cozy. I can only complain that there's definitely not enough tables... I think there's only 5! The rest of the seats are bar stools... which is ok when you're dining with just a couple of others.
This is the only place I have ever ate where people from all over the country know the name and where it is located. The food is great for those nights where you don't want to cook and need to spend little cash. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS DINER!!!
