Tiya's Thai Restaurant
Tiya's Thai Restaurant exudes charm and comfort that would put you at ease as soon as you step into the cozy restaurant. The food and drinks are reasonably priced and is source for excellent Thai cuisine in the downtown area. The T om Yum Goong , Jasmine Rice and Basil Chicken gets a definite thumbs up. Overall the dining experience here will be unforgettable.
Last night I went with my partner to Tiya's for dinner. After we sat down we waited for a menu for about 20 minutes. Finally, we had to ask for one. We ordered drinks and waited while we watched others being served their drinks and food. Finally, we asked if we could have our drinks. Then we had to ask to order because no one came to take our order. Then we had to remind them after one hour that we had not yet received our food. We finally ate and then asked for our bill. The bill never came. We got up and went to the cash register to pay and the bill was wrong. We were overcharged. Since everyone else was served promptly and the bill was delivered to their table, service should not even earn one star. This experience left us with the impression that this is not a gay friendly establishment.
We went there for dinner last night and the food was excellent. Out of the 5 Thai places we've tried in the Nashua/Manchester area, this is our favorite so far. Big dining area, very clean, flavors in the dishes were amazing. We had Tom Gar Kai soup, grilled steak salad (super spicy), beef massaman curry with white rice, spring rolls (very fresh) and pad thai. All very good.
