I hope You You reads these reviews and has it change their actions towards customers. I read several of these reviews as we are looking for a place to eat and will never eat here. Customer service is 90% of the experience in an estiblishment. If the owner would yell at customers he does not deserve our revenue.
I can't say enough great things about this restaurant. The best sushi I've had north of Boston. A menu that tempts me try try something new every time I visit. Friendly staff. Nice enough atmosphere for those special nights, yet relaxed enough just to go on the spur of the moment.
I have been looking for a place like this for a long time. It has very traditional japanese dishes, although not always with the right names. The atmosphere is incredible and the food speaks for itself!
Our 6-man lunch group returns occasionally because the food is very good, but the service is terrible. Our waiter was asked twice to bring forks. when he did, he dropped all the forks in the middle of the table. When I reminded him he never brought the tea that I ordered he argued that I never asked for tea.
If we didn't like the food we wouldn't return.
WILL NOT RETURN. For years I have been a big fan of this restaurant, and have recommended this restaurant to everybody I know. Recently I had the WORST experience I have ever had in any restaurant or customer oriented establishment. Myself, as well as another regular (daily) customer were yelled at and humiliated in the middle of the restaurant by the OWNER for making alterations to our already ordered meals. We were spoken down to like we were children and told that the friends we send in also change menu options, which is a huge inconvenience to the kitchen. The owner pointed fingers and made us feel so uncomfortable that we left. People in the surrounding area were witness to the owners behavior towards us and had there hands on their face in shock. I dine out frequently and could care less what food cost as long as its good food and the way I like it. In today's economy whats the point of going out to eat if you can't order your food the way you want it...? You You will not cater to this request and feels that they can treat long time customers with disrespect and horrific, poor management style.
