Worst meals and worst manager (female) I have ever had. I ordered stuffed founder (fish), my teen ordered pizza, my friend ordered the same I had, it took more than 50 minutes for the food to come out, not only the potion was small, the fish smelled so disgusting. My kid didn't eat the pizza, it looked gross, too. So I went to talk to the manager. She didn't apologize, instead, she defended the waitress and tried to find excuse that there were another table have 7 people. Yes, only two tables that night. The other table had been there for a while when we walked in. They actually complained that the drinks they ordered didnot arrive for long time, even after the meals came. Horrible, rude service, food not fresh, over priced for the potion. I will never go back.
I booked the upstairs function room for my sisters surprise 40th birthday party. I had never been to Martha's but friends and family had been to the restaurant and rated the experience average to above average. Unfortunately, no one had attended a function in their upstairs facility or else maybe I would've been warned. The wait staff was rude to my guests and completely inefficient. 10 minutes into the buffet dinner there was no food to be found on the buffet and when I went to find the wait staff I found them texting on their cell phones in the kitchen. When the food was finally replenished it was cold, not luke warm, cold. Not only that but there wasn't enough cold food to go around. I ordered the buffet for 60 people, had 60 attendees and yet somehow we didn't have enough food. Even dessert was a debacle. I order apple pie for 60 guests. The wait staff brought out 10 pieces of pie, literally 10 pieces. When a guest requested more pie the wait staff told them to wait for the birthday cake. The birthday cake was something that I brought and paid for as an addition to the dessert options. The fact that there was also a birthday cake does not mean we should not have been served the apple pie for 60 people which I PAID FOR.
The worst part of the entire situation is I brought these issues to the attention of the function host, who was actually great to work with and asked her to discuss it with management. I even filled out the survey they sent me with all of the details of the nightmare of an experience and I heard from no one.
Net-net, if you want your guests to be treated with respect and them to enjoy a warm fulfilling meal, DO NOT have your function at Martha's Exchange in Nashua, NH.
I didn't get to try the beer and I've heard that's the best thing Martha's has going for themselves. I had a mexican specialty and my wife had the ribeye. Take the advice of me and everyone else here, don't waste time or money on the steak.
Crab cakes were excelent and the pulled pork quesidilla was a great unique treat. The service was average to below average.
It is one of the best restaurants in Nashua but don't break your back to get here if you're around another restaurant.
I enjoy going to martha's. the menu is varied (like an encyclopedia!)
the beer is good, I get the beer sampler with 6 different short beers so I don't have to decide
My son likes the fish and chips, my wife likes the spanikopita (spinach pie)
I like the southwestern steak. Prices are really reasonable' The food is good and service are consistent.easy to get in with minimal to no wait as they have a lot of tables and rooms. The root beer is home made and very good as well!
the deserts are good but not a standout.
casual and comfortable, if you are looking for some upscale go across the streed to michael timothy's
Great Micorbrewery Beer but I ordered a Medium rare steak that was more than well done, I asked about it and got another steak that was well done, no pink AT ALL. Everything else was great and even being well done the steak had good flavor. It was worth the trip from Nashua ( I was there on business) Everyone else that had dinner that night was more than satisfied. I was the only one to order a steak from a restaurant on the east coast.
the steak was bullet proof and looked like it still had the whipmarks on it . the service was the slowest of all times and all i could smell was stale beer . definately not up to par with Boston standard's.
food was not tasty and they have a brewery openly atached to the resteraunt with no devider but a curtain. these plases need to be sanitized constantly not once a day thus resulting in cockroach city. get a grip on things!
