Kind of a hotch-potch....

This place is great for some, awful for others. We've been here a few times, and have had both good and bad experiences. First, the good. The buffet spread is incredible! Choices abound and only the pickiest of picky eaters will not be able to find something to chow down on. Vegetarians, sushi-lovers, pizza/pasta lovers, Japanese food lovers, dessert lovers - this place has something for everyone!!! And oodles of choices as well. For example, if you're vegetarian, there are quite a few dish choices, and quantities are unlimited in classic buffet-style. Like freshly prepared food? No problem. An onsite cook will make your choice of meat fresh to order - including duck! In short, a regular smorgasbord!!! Servers are quick to pounce on abandoned empty plates, so you will always be able to put down your freshly-filled one. Try a little of everything if you are not sure what is good, then go back for seconds, thirds or even fourths of your favorite dish if the fancy strikes you to do so. Food is USUALLY (more on this later!) replenished quickly, and one price for unlimited food (drinks are extra) is a great way to be able to budget large gatherings without too many surprises. The ambience, though not the best around, is adequate that you will not be sorry you went there. Live karaoke is also available, if that's your cup of tea (pun intended!).
The bad, though not much is bad here, is that sheer size sometimes means the servers sometimes cannot keep up with the large menu offerings on busy days. So on a Saturday night, eg., you may have to wait several minutes for your favorite fried rice if that's what you REALLY came to eat. More important, on not-so-busy nights, food can be left out TOO long and get stale! This was what happened to us the last time we went there. The chicken had turned in one of my favorite dishes, and the after-taste lingered in my mouth for hours afterwards! Buyer beware!!
