Visted this restaurant recently and found it to be very poor! The brunch cost about $18:00 and they were out of baked ham, very little prime rib and one piece of salmon on the tray, no bacon, hardly any baked goods. I asked for toast and they stated they do not make toast.they did refill the items I listed upon request. The omelet was good, the staff was very nice, but I do not think they should be running a restaurant. Left hungry and went out to another Italian restaurant that was excellent. My recommmendation is to go to Cucna Toscana Nashua NH. You can get a good size 1/2 portions for a very reasonable price. We would not go back to Georgio s. Save your money.
Had been going to Giorgio's for years - lived in the area for 30+; used to go when they were in the little strip mall in Milford. That was when the food was consistent. After putting millions into his new location, seems like the owner is no longer interested in pleasing customers. It takes much more than a great looking restaurant to be a good place to eat. I will not be recommending it.
October 2, 2011- My wife and I received a gift certificate to Georgio's in Milford, NH. We had been there several times before for dinner and had always been pleased with the food and the service. This time however, we decided to try their Sunday morning brunch. The brunch is served from 10 am to 1 pm. The cost for adults is $18.95. First thought was that this was a little bit pricey, but since we had a gift certificate, it wasn't so painfull. We arrived at 10:20 am. There was only one other car in the parking lot. That should have been another clue. But we went in anyway. Like I mentioned before, we have been there several times. The building outside is very nice and inside it is beautiful. The brunch was set up very nice and had not been touched. The wait staff all looked very professional and accomodating. Our waitress was very pleasant. On the tables were containers with such things as Eggs Benedict, Scrambled Eggs, Sausage & Bacon, Waffle Sticks, Acorn squash & Salmon, etc. On another table were Smoked Salmon, Roast Beef, Baked Ham, Several Breads, Pastries and fruit galore, and desert that would send Chris Christi into an eating frenzy. First thing they offered us was a complimentary mamusa. It was excellent. We then went to the tables and helped ourselves to the Eggs Benedict, Scrambled Eggs, Waffle strips, and some fruit. The Eggs benedict were not very warm and the english muffin was so hard that is was not eatable. The scrambled eggs were more milk than they were eggs and were closer to an unsweetened custard than they were scrambled eggs. The waffle strips were discusting. Hard and cold. The acorn squash with Salmon was very fishy. The smoked salmon was also very fishy. Actually, I have smelled better chum buckets. I love salmon. I love it any way I can get it from raw to steamed except, I don't like it old and smelly. This was fish bait. But once you have it in your mouth, what do you do with it. To my regret, I swallowed. Even the coffee was not hot. The deserts were hard and stale. One redeeming item was a chocolate fountain. There were pineapple peices, angel cake chunks, sliced strawberries, etc, to dip in the chocolate.
My problem wasn't the price, it was the quality. The best and cheapest breakfast in Milford is at the Express Donut with one of their bagel sandwiches. They have huge bagels, two eggs, your choice of meats (my favorite is a sausage patty) and cheese. I takes two hands to handle it. Next Sunday, that is where I am going.
On the way out, we met someone coming in that had been delayed by the Yories that we had in our car. It was a cold misty morning and we stood there and talked with them for about 10 minutes. The subject of the brunch did come up. And it kept coming up all day. When we left the parking lot, they were right behind us. 24 hours later and I am still not quite over it. The last day was filled with intestinal suffering for both me and my wife. Never again.
My husband and I used to live in Hudson, N.H. Before moving to Canton, GA. we used to dine at Giorgio's often. Down here, we often talk about our favorite places in N.H. Your can bet Giorgio's is at the top of the list. We always found the experience delightful, excellent food, friendly service, relaxing ambiance. We are plan to dine there everytime we are visiting N.H. Thank you for the happy memories.
Have been 4 times in the past year. Each time has been very good. The food is excellent and the staff is very attentive. Prices aren't a bargain, but you get what you pay for, everything is freshly made and is plated in a very visually appealing way. Highly reccomend for special occasions or family/business dinners.
This restaurant is great! We have gone often. The ambience is great. They have wonderfully fresh food. For an unbelievable experience...try the symposium....its a bunch of courses chosen by the chef. Awesome experience.
I love this place! I wish I lived a little closer so I could go more often. The prices are a little more than I usually spend, but you get what you pay for and I'm definitely willing to pay more for high quality on special occasions. The chicken parm is EXCELLENT and I love the tomato sauce - some of the best I've ever tasted.
